GMA NEWS: Marian Rivera shows support for local designers

The Kapuso actress is an advocate of Filipino-made products!

It's no new news that Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera is a proud advocate and supporter of Pinoy-made products as she has been vocal about it on social media and has worn numerous locally-made products over the years.

And as the latest ArteFino Festival commences, the Kapuso actress did not miss the chance to show her support for the trade fair that's centric on celebrating Filipino craftsmanship. After two years of being on halt due to the pandemic, the ArteFino Festival makes its official return at the Power Plant Mall in Makati to help recognize Pinoy pride.

The trade fair will run until September 28 and every week they're featuring different local brands and products so that enthusiasts and potential ones can learn more about these small, independent businesses.

Marian took it to her Instagram feed to share photos of her at the fair and showcased various local designers and products from the event, she writes in her caption, “Visited the ArteFino Festival to support our local talents. Always grateful to meet our local designers who make proudly pinoy products...@artefinoph.”

Of course, The Kapuso Primetime Queen did not miss the chance to purchase a local product of her own. As seen on her Instagram stories, Marian bought a luxury purse made of natural acacia wood from Calli Bags.
